Are you asking yourself, “What the heck is Galentine’s Day?”
Join us for the one day each year when ladies are encouraged to shower their closest friends with love and attention…more than they do every other day. If you’ve never heard of this made-up holiday, don’t fret! It was invented in 2010 by Leslie Knope, a fictional character from the television show, Parks and Rec. Each year this day is celebrated by bffs everywhere with everything from spa days, brunch and shopping extravaganzas. And really, we think it’s just a great reason to get together with your friends for a well-earned ladies night out!
This year, join the businesses in Historic Downtown Long Grove for an extended day of shopping, sipping and dining and don’t forget to dress up! Our lady hearts are encouraged to dress in pink and lady heartbreakers should wear black.
Participating businesses will have specials, discounts, give-aways and more planned for all the hearts and heartbreakers who attend. Ladies who register in advance or at the event will be entered to win prizes donated by our merchants throughout the night.
Important Carriage Ride Update
Due to the frigid weather forecast predicted for Saturday, February 13 with regard to the safety of the horses, we have decided to cancel the Carriage Rides scheduled for that day. Cancellation emails and refunds are being sent for all registered participants.
